Pulse Station collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no server belonging to the developer. Your heart-rate data stays on your Mac.
Pulse Station reads heart-rate values from a Bluetooth sensor you choose, using the standard Bluetooth Heart Rate Service. Those values are shown in the app and rendered into an overlay page served from your own Mac. They are held in memory while the app runs and are not written to a history file or database.
The app stores your own settings on your Mac: the overlay style you picked, your customization, the identifier of the sensor you last used, the local server port and your private overlay link. These stay in the app's sandboxed preferences and are never transmitted.
Pulse Station runs a small web server on your Mac so OBS can display the overlay. By default it listens only on the loopback address, which is reachable only from the same Mac.
If you switch on local network sharing, the same page becomes reachable from other devices on your local network, so OBS on another computer can display it. Access requires your private link. The connection is plain HTTP and is intended for a trusted home or studio network only. You can regenerate the private link at any time, which immediately stops older links from working.
The app makes no other network connections. It does not require an internet connection and contacts no service belonging to the developer or anyone else.
None. No data is sold, shared or disclosed, because none is collected.
If you have opted in to sharing analytics with Apple and developers in macOS, Apple may send the developer aggregated crash reports. Those reports are produced by Apple and contain diagnostic information about the app, not heart-rate values. This is controlled entirely by your macOS setting.
Pulse Station is a general-purpose utility, is not directed at children, and collects no personal information from anyone.
